After clinching the Cheshire Kart Racing Club Championship in 07, Chris goes into the
final round of this years (08) Championship on equal points with the same driver who
came 2nd to him last year. Due to missing the first round through illness, the pressure
is now on Chris at the final round of the Championship at Hooton Park on the 9th November.
Chris must win his heats and the final in order to clinch the title again.
If however he is unsuccessful and becomes vice champion he would still like to extend his
thanks to his supporters for their help help and assistance this season, especially, his family
and friends, also Nicoletta at EKS Italy, Castrol Oil Company , Rob@digipics4u.com,
NGK, RDB93Ltd and also former rival Andy Potter for his recent help.

After 5 rounds and at the halfway point of the season Chris leads the Cheshire Kart Club Formula Blue Championship even with missing the first round with illness.
His previous 2 victories in April and May were backed up with a 2nd place finish at The Cheshire Oaks Cup meeting held in early June, he qualified 2nd on the grid but a slight engine problem in the final meant he had to settle behind his close rival I.Buchanan for second. This keeps his back to back title aim on track.
Chris would like to thanks his sponsors including Castrol who have recently backed him for his 2008 season, RDB93LTD, Halfords of Chester, NGK, Digipics4u, SL Embroidery and his dad with dt-motorsport.co.uk

After a disappointment of missing the first round in Feb with tonsillitis and only a lowly 6th place finish after qualifying 3rd in round 2, Chris put everything into his efforts for round 3, taking 3 heat wins, 3 fastest laps and a lights to flag win in the final to bounce his way towards the top 3 in the championship.

After taking a week away from Hooton Park to race at GYG in North Wales and finishing a creditable 3rd(setting fastest lap) in his first outing there since 2006, Chris took the honours at Hooton park throughout the day including a heat 1 win by nearly 1 whole lap (lapping the whole field bar from 2nd+3rd in appalling conditions)

Chris - "We made a small setup change for the full wet weather conditions that we haven't tried before and the kart was unbelievable, it was as if it was on rails, must thank my dad for his constant help with the setup and development in the kart"

The weekend also proved success for Chris' team-mate Russell Edwards, finishing a career high 2nd in the final along with Jake Camble Mills taking 4th in only his 7th ever cadet (8-12 year olds) race on the EKS mini.
